Great place to spend a day or weekend, rent a golf cart at the airport and drive all over the island. Visit the Skyway Restaurant and Lounge for the original late-night island experience! Located off of Langram Road near the Put in Bay airport, the Skyway serves a variety of delicious foods and offers an extensive selection of wine. Don't miss their award-winning martinis and a trip to the Bloody Mary Bar. The Skyway also specializes in catering parties, banquets and wedding receptions.

8/17/2013 - SKYWAY RESTAURANT CURRENTLY CLOSED, don't know why. still a favorite destination island from KCGF. get a golfcart and get into the middle of things. 10 minutes away- The Boardwalk-great lobster bisque, the microbrew off the square for your passengers stay overnight,a blast - Submitted by MARY

11/10/2010 - Great place to fly to for a fun weekend!! Just remember: remain at least 1000 feet from Perry's monument located 1-1/2 miles northeast of the field. I wouldn't want the airport closed or restricted because the people on the Monument lookout think they are in danger. - Submitted by Doug Brown
