4/6/2009 - Just wanted to inform you that the 1/5/2005 regarding the restaurant called Tain Spin Tommy's; they have been out of business for the last two years.
Also,unfortunately we Hilton Garden Inn can no longer provide shuttle service over to the EAA HQ/Museum. Could you please remove that line from the 8/5/2008 posting? We will offer a Free Breakfast and 10% off BAR Best Available Rateto any member pilots flying in to our property for an overnight stay. Except during EAA AirVenture Convention. They would need to refer to the code: FLY when making their reservations requesting parking space to receive this offer. Thanking you.... 8/5/2008 - The Hilton Garden Inn of Oshkosh, may have the only hotel in the country, where you land at the Airport The Wittman Airport and then taxi up to the Hilton's private aircraft parking area located right next to the hotel. The tarmac is less that 40 feet from the entrance of the hotel. Plus, the EAA Headquarters Museum is located across the airfield and you can grab the hotel shuttle to take you over there. Lots of shopping and places to eat near by too.

1/5/2005 - Great new restaurant called TAILSPIN TOMMY'S PIZZA & BAKED SUBS just opened only 1 block from the Hilton on the NW edge of the field.Giant oven-baked subs and homemade pizza in an aviation theme. Amazing fiber optic star ceiling gives illusion of dining outdoors. Aviation memorabilia includes WWII POW diary written by B-17 gunner while in Stalag 17. Pilots will LOVE this place.
6/23/2003 - And now you can taxi right up to the Hilton (NW corner) and have an all you can eat breakfast on Saturday or Sunday Mornings.
