Luray Caverns Airport
Free ground transportation to Luray Caverns, auto display, and restaurant. The Luray Caverns Airport is a public use, general aviation airport operated under the supervision of the Luray-Page County Airport Authority. 3/30/2018 - Actually they will you anywhere in town for a meal and then pick you up to go to the Caverns or back to the airport. They pump the low cost fuel. If you are having a meal and/or going to caverns, park at the big ramp on east end. They will pick you up there. - Submitted by Joe Stubblefield
1/8/2017 - Family flew into KLAUS last week. Nice experience overall. Car was waiting to shuttle us to the Caverns before the prop stopped... Fuel prices OK. Very friendly FBO...Caverns were nice... Recommended - Submitted by Dwb
12/13/2015 - Luray Caverns Airport is a great place to fly to. I've taken my sister and a couple friends there and am so impressed by how kind and accommodative they are at the airport. There's a driver there who will take you back and forth from the Caverns or your wherever your nearby destination is. It's a trip I plan to take again! - Submitted by Bridgett
7/5/2010 - Absolutely great destination. Ken Painter, the airport manager, picked us up plane-side in a van and took us right to the caverns. The caverns are definately a must-see. Ken gave us his card and said just call when we were ready to leave... picked us up 10 minutes after we called and took us right back to the plane. Ken gets five-stars for customer service, and made this destination one of the funnest places to fly in recent memory. - Submitted by Austin
10/8/2007 - What a nice welcome! FBO manager Ken Painter could not be more helpful, offering a ride to nearby Luray Caverns, hints on local sights, reviews of good restaurants, and nicely priced av gas. Luray is close to snow skiing, Skyline Drive, and fall scenery. 10/07
