6/13/2018 - We went to Bulldog Camps for a 3-day anniversary trip in early June. It was an amazing place to disconnect, destress, and reflect. The new main lodge featured on the website is a terrific addition with excellent food, a fully stocked bar, and family style seating. Would highly recommend the 'American Plan', which includes 3 large and tasty meals/day. The cabins are well maintained and very cozy with heat, shower, and kitchen. Be prepared to disconnect for the time you are there no cell service, wifi, outlets. Would recommend you bring extra charging batteries and a 'spot' or similar device if you plan to venture far from the main camp.
For pilots: the lake is ~7500' in length at ~1500' MSL. There are mountains to the immediate west and east of the lake at ~2500' MSL. To the north, terrain steadily rises to ~2300' MSL at a grade of ~8. If wind is calm, recommend coming in from the south and taking off to the south to avoid terrain. Bring at least 75' in rope to reach the cedar trees along the shoreline. The docking area for the camp is a protected rockybottom beach with little wave action unless the wind is direct from the south east. - Submitted by Brendon Stoner

Great place, beautiful lake, really enjoyed our stay. Accessible by road now. Dock has pilings about 3' above deck. Dockable with care or assistance. We docked.shoreline shallow and 2 to 4 in round gravel type stones. Cabins quite comfortable. - Submitted by Robert Merrell
8/28/2015 - Went there for two days last September. We really enjoyed it. Beautiful, peaceful lake and camps. One correction: The camps are accessible by road now. The dock is a pipe frame wooden walkway boat dock with the usual pipe lengths above the walkway that most boat docks have. Water is not deep at dock . Bottom is small stream stones. With floats and wing struts it helps to have help tying up keeping the struts clear of poles, particularly if the wind happens not to favor you. - Submitted by Robert Merrell
9/28/2014 - Spent Sept 25-27 there. Perfect wx, nice folks, good hiking,scenery, and food. Beautiflu place. Bear season was reported as very successful. Plenty of grouse.B - Submitted by Robert Merrell
