3/6/2022 - Flew into Branson to meet up with some family and friends who were in the area. Our first time to the area. We were staying in The Landing area, which is downtown Branson, so we flew into KPLK Clark Downtown airport. However, our family / friends were staying at Big Cedar Lodge. If you are planning on staying at Big Cedar Lodge or any of the resorts near that area, you are probably better served going to KBBG, the Class D Branson Airport. This airport has significantly more services than KPLK and has a nice restaurant right at the FBO. Tower controllers were very nice when we asked to transit their Class D airspace for some flight-seeing. Very near the Branson KBBG airport is also the Top of the Rock area which is part of the Big Cedar Lodge complex. If you have time, this is worth the trip to go over and see there is a $10 fee per car. 3/21/2016 - We flew in here February of 2014 for a weekend stay. They not only had our rental car waiting for us they drove it up to the plane after they marshaled us in. The car was war which was nice on a February morning. If I have to go back to Branson I'm coming back here. - Submitted by Barry
