Charlevoix Downtown

This harbor town in NW lower Michigan is about as nice as they come! The airport staff is very welcoming, and the walk into town is less than a mile and flat. Once there you will find a sweet town nestled between Lake Michgan and Round Lake the harbor connected by a short channel. Nice shops in town with many good food options. Go across the drawbridge to the Weathervane restaurant for our favorite. You can walk out to Lake Michigan along the channel or in the park along Round Lake. This is second only to Mackinac Island for must-see flying destinations in Michigan, only this is closer and involves less walking. - Submitted by Jeff
