Mackinac Island Airport

If you fly in no where else in Michigan, this is the one place you have to go! We take friends and family several times per year. The airport is about a mile walk into town through the woods on paved roads, though there are no cars on the island!

Just horse drawn wagons and buggies. Yes, very touristy, but very unique and well worth spending a day walking, hiking, renting bikes, eating, shopping, taking in wonderful views! No fuel at this state-run airport, but the airport office/terminal is new and first class.

Eat at Millie's on Main if you want to go where the local's eat. Good food at fair prices. - Submitted by Jeff
