Noble County Airport Wolf Run State Park
Noble County Airport is surrounded and part of Wolf Run State Park. They have a pilots camping area off the south west side of the runway. The camping area has picnic tables, typical park outhouses and fire rings. Around the park there are hiking trails. The main feature of the park is the lake that it encompasses. Noble County Airport is an underused airport and could really use some activity to let the park system know we appriciate the fly-in camp ground! - Submitted by Jeremy

7/11/2022 - We have been to the camping area twice recently very private so far there are multiple picnic tables and fire rings they have 2 wagons to haul your equipment to camping area just a couple hundred yard walk! Just call the airport and they will give you a code to unlock fbo wagons. You can use the fbo bathrooms!! They have a tv, snack drinks honor system. We really enjoyed our stay! Bring a fishing rod inflatable kayak if your into that lake is only a hundred yards or less from campsites! - Submitted by Robert Antulis
2/23/2012 - I spent a few nights camping here a few years ago. Bring everything including water and TP! There's nothing to do but relax and enjoy the scenery! My only complaint: you can hear the traffic noise from the interstate on the other side of the lake, but it wouldn't keep me from returning! - Submitted by CAE
5/22/2011 - Flew in to Noble County campground on 20 May 11 for an overnight stay. It's nice to have a fly-in campground available, but be advised that there are no services at the airport, no water, only two fire rings and a few picnic tables, tent placement is difficult since the entire camping area is on a fairly significant slope, swimming is prohibited, the pit toilets are filled with spiders/webs/insects, and the grass parking area is risky since it sits low and is soaked if there has been any recent rain. - Submitted by Dwayne

11/18/2009 - We have been going to this fly-in campground for several years and always have so much fun. The main campground including bathroom and shower facilities is on the other side of the lake so it is not very easily accessible although an inflatable boat makes it easy to get across the lake. It is awesome on the fly-in side because it's like having your own private campground. I highly recommend Wolf Run for fly-in camping! - Submitted by Stephanie
