This is a fun place to fly any day. There are over 40 mid atlantic region aircraft on display including warbirds, homebuilts, one-of -a kind, and antique. There is a restaurant on the field at the airport, and parking is free on the Museum's ramp. On June 5,6,7 the Museum has it's 19th annual WWII Weekend. This is the best WWII reenactment around! They have WWII aircraft, reenactors, encampments, WWII military vehicles, battle reenactments, a military flea market, a hangar dance on Friday and Saturday night, special guests, and it goes on and on. Aircraft parking is easy, and flying in is the best way to go to stay out of traffic.

The Mid-Atlantic Air Museum is a great place for anyone interested in aviation history. It has multiple flyable aircraft including a B-25, TBM Avenger, and many more. Museum hours are generally open 9:30-4:00 daily and requires a minimal fee for a tour. The museum is also restoring a P-61 Black Widow, which will be the only flyable one in the world when completed. There is also an airport restaurant on the field, and crew cars available from the FBOs if you want to head to some local restaurants. - Submitted by Brenda Saylor |
