In partnership with the National Park Service, each year on December 17 the First Flight Society celebrates the anniversary of powered flight by hosting a free event at the Wright Brothers National Memorial.
This year's event will honor General Charles McGee, famous Tuskegee Airman pilot. The festivities will feature speakers from the National Park Service as well as a flyover, among other activities.
