Reynolds Alberta Museum - Wetaskiwin, AB

Fascinating museum within walking distance of airport. Park by the air museum and call number on gate to get access to the main museum. Outstanding collection of old cars and farm equipment. Fairmont Hot Springs - Fairmont Hot Springs, BC

Hot Springs Resort - located near 6000 ft paved runway. Airport has fuel call ahead to confirm and will give you a ride to the resort. Resort has a variety of rooms and cabins, good restaurants, three golf courses and several natural fed Hot Springs Pools. Can spend the night or just do it as a day trip like we did and get a pass to the pool and a bite to eat. Spectacular views of the Canadian Rockies. Shown on Calgary Sectional chart which depicts preferred VFR routes through the mountains/passes. The day we went, weather was great, winds fairly calm and smooth ride. - Submitted by C. Baker

Okanagan Valley CYLW Kelowna BC Canada - Kelowna, BC

An incredibly hospitable tourism destination all 4 seasons!. There is customs on the airport and many things to do. Canada's premier wine making region, 17 golf courses, 5 of which are Championship, 2 ski mountains within an hour's drive of the airport, and lakes that are jsut spectacular. Canadian Aviation and Space Museum - Ottawa, ON

The Canadian Aviation and Space Museum is located at the Rockcliffe Airport. Lots to see and do. Call ahead or advise UNICOM before landing that you are attending the museum. Park at the end of Delta taxiway behind the museum and security will escort you from the back door to the front to buy tickets. - Submitted by Chris
