Fairmont Hot Springs - Fairmont Hot Springs, BC

Hot Springs Resort - located near 6000 ft paved runway. Airport has fuel call ahead to confirm and will give you a ride to the resort. Resort has a variety of rooms and cabins, good restaurants, three golf courses and several natural fed Hot Springs Pools. Can spend the night or just do it as a day trip like we did and get a pass to the pool and a bite to eat. Spectacular views of the Canadian Rockies. Shown on Calgary Sectional chart which depicts preferred VFR routes through the mountains/passes. The day we went, weather was great, winds fairly calm and smooth ride. - Submitted by C. Baker

Okanagan Valley CYLW Kelowna BC Canada - Kelowna, BC

An incredibly hospitable tourism destination all 4 seasons!. There is customs on the airport and many things to do. Canada's premier wine making region, 17 golf courses, 5 of which are Championship, 2 ski mountains within an hour's drive of the airport, and lakes that are jsut spectacular.
