| Get ready for an unforgettable day of fun, adventure, and family togetherness as Planes, Trains Automobiles returns to Plant City for its highly anticipated 13th annual event! Taking place on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Plant City Airport KPCM, this exciting festival is the perfect way for families to unwind and reconnect after the challenges of the recent hurricane season that impacted Central Florida. The event will feature a spectacular lineup of attractions: from jaw-ping aircraft displays and live radio-controlled flight demonstrations to a captivating car show and intricate model train setups, there's something for everyone to enjoy. One of the highlights is the enormous LEGO transportation display guaranteed to bring out the childlike wonder in visitors young and old. But that's just the beginning! Families can dive into hands-on activities, including flight simulators and STEM exhibits from SUN 'n FUN's Aerospace Center for Excellence. Plus, the Plant City Experimental Aircraft Association will offer Young Eagles discovery flights, and Scouts will even have the chance to earn merit badges on-site! The little ones will love the bounce houses, pinewood derby races, and tons of other fun-filled adventures crafted just for them. Add in the delicious food trucks and local vendors, and you've got the recipe for a perfect day out. Fly-ins are WELCOME and parking is FREE! Plus, if you show your aircraft in the competition, you could win a trophy! Free admission for show planes, too!.
