| Antique Airplane Fly-In at Massey Aerodrome MD1 The 52nd Antique Airplane Fly-In Formerly the Horn Point Fly-In will be held on Saturday June 1st, 2024 from 10:00 am to 2 pm. Conducted by the Potomac Antique Aero Squadron PAAS chapter of the Antique Airplane Assoc. Hosted by the Massey Air Museum. This is the only Antique Airplane Assoc. Judged Event in our region. General Public and fans of Aviation are invited to attend. Last year sunny skies attracted 105 antique, classic, biplanes, taildraggers and general aviation aircraft to enjoy Grassroots Aviation. Tour the Massey Air Museum, DC-3, An-2 hangars. Free Admission Donations are Welcome. Family Friendly. Experience Grassroots Aviation when tail wheels were king. The Millington Volunteer Fire Co. will be selling hot dogs and hamburgers. Pilots: As always, keep an eye out for no-radio aircraft. Winds permitting, Runway 02 is the preferred arrival approach on event days, if not, the west side Back Taxi lane allows passage off-the-runway. Check for VIP TFRs.
