Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is one of four Lockheed Martin business areas. MFC is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. MFC develops, manufactures and supports advanced combat, missile, rocket, manned and unmanned systems for military customers that include the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, NASA and dozens of foreign allies.
This role will support the PAC-3 directorate with proposal development, negotiations, strategy and planning. Develops and applies solutions to unusually complex problems which require the regular use of a high degree of ingenuity, creativity and innovation. Solutions may serve as precedent for future decisions. Reviews and evaluates customer requests for proposal or revisions to contracts; provides risk assessments and offers alternative approaches to mitigate risk; evaluates and coordinates proposals; investigates and reconciles significant changes involving cost, specifications, schedules, etc.
Maintains high standard of ethics. Understands and implements Lockheed Martin corporate and local policies and procedures. Candidate should be self-starter who requires minimal supervision and has the ability to comprehend complex financial and business concepts and suggest viable alternatives during negotiations. Should be able to handle multiple assignments and achieve program goals and deadlines in a fact-paced environment. Successful candidate will be required to become familiar with the unique program requirements in minimal time.
Candidate should possess strong computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to grasp other software applications required to perform job duties; have excellent written and oral communication skills; and possess strong interpersonal skills. Develops and maintains good working relationships with customers, integrated program team members, and industry peers.
Requires some travel. Job may require additional duties that may or may not be outside specific area of expertise. The willingness that the successful candidate exhibits to work as a team and to meet challenges will be the key to success.

Requirements: Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience negotiating contracts and or proposals
- Finance background/experience
- Ability to obtain a US DOD Security ClearanceDesired Skills:
- 15 or more years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or 13 or more years with a Master's degree
- Proposal Management / Capture experience
- International contracting experience
- Aerospace and/or Defense industry experience
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to brief executive management
