Assess student performance
Conduct Part 61 and 141 Stage Checks
Mentor students and instructors
Supervise night and Sunday flight activities
Participate in projects and assignments at the discretion of the Chief Flight Instructor
Demonstrate a commitment to inclusion and transformational education.
Requirements:
Applicants must possess an earned Bachelorrsquo;s degree at time of hire, or completed within one year of hire, in aviation and transportation technology or related field
Must have at least 500 hours of total flight time and 200 hours of dual instruction given, or equivalent teaching experience and/or relevant industry experience
Must have demonstrated ability to teach, manage a classroom and course
Applicants must possess a current FAA issued Flight Instructor Certificate with an instrument rating (CFII), Multi engine instructor rating is preferred, and at least a third class medical.
An instructor who meets the flight time qualifications of FAA CFR 141.36(d) is preferred.
Candidates must have the ability to work in the US without immigration sponsorship from Purdue University.
